Finishing the Task exists to convene and catalyze the global body of Christ towards the goal of ensuring that everyone has access to a Bible, Believer and Body of Christ. This movement began in 2000 with the goal of synthesizing data towards tracking and engaging the unengaged, unreached people groups of the world. Now, with the 2000th anniversary of the Great Commission – Jesus's call to make disciples of all nations – in sight in AD 2033, Finishing the Task is rallying churches and organizations to collaborate and work together towards cooperative goals in Bible translation, evangelization, and church planting.
